“A King shall be diligent….,” you said, quoting Kautilya in your budget speech, and then decided to follow Kautilya’s advice.
But who is the king here, dear sir.
We are living in a democratic country where the government is of the people, and by the people.
It is elected to serve the people rather than rule them.
I thought that was elementary, dear sir.
Regards…

Hi Vandana: i fully agree with your observation. i too found repeated reference to King as disgusting. In fact i find the whole budget as disgusting since it puts more money in the same leaky social development schemes.
This country is going to dogs, unless these guys get there act together fast. Manmohan Singh as FM was much better than Manmohan Singh as PM. May be PV Narsimhna Rao took the political Heat much better and allowed him to do some reforms.

Hi Vandana,
Pls try to avoid using BS blogs for such type of jokes. It would be quite appreciable if u use ur humour to point out the real issues & short comings of the budget presented by Mr. Pranab Mukherjee

I had expected better stuff on BS blogs. I was thoroughly disappointed in my first visit itself. Blogs on a respectable newspaper’s site should be thought-provoking and not some little-known writer’s random thoughts meant for her (which should find a place on Twitter).
