World-renowned physicist, Stephen Hawking
(remember “Brief History in Time”?), recently asked a question on yahoo:
In a world that is in chaos politically,
socially and environmentally, how can
the human race sustain another 100 years? Nearly 20,000
people have attempted an answer. You may
want to answer it too: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/;_

Well-known quantum physicist and proponent of the string theory has written many books, the best known of which is ‘A Brief History of Time’.
I believe that is the one you had in mind.

If you were to ask me, the question posed by Hawking is as pertinent and loaded as it is rhetorical.

However, what I’m really excited about is the debate it will engender in the humankind’s collective consciousness.

PS: My two- bits’ worth will be there on Yahoo! Answers.
