Chad Fowler, an ex-software developer and manager for some of the world’slargest corporations, has lived & worked in India. He established an offshore software development centre for a large multinational company, while in India. So, now you know where the inspiration comes from. What Fowler does in his book is to create a fair and interesting look at how outsourcing has affected the field of software development (if you did not know that already from the umpteen number of news reports and editorial opinions). ‘Brand in a Star’ is something unheard of in the past or in marketing terminology. Marketing text book defines brand as “a name, term, symbol, design or a combination of them, which is intended to identify the goods and services of one seller and to differentiate them from those of competitors.”

Exploring my Explorer

That Windows Explorer is one of the most used parts of Windows XP, I probably don’t have to tell you. But did you also know that whenever you go to My Computer and browse through files on your PC, you are in effect using Explorer. Using the icons on the desktop, right-clicking on files and folders, copying and pasting files are all examples of using the features that the Explorer provides. Yet, there are many of the features that Windows Explorer provides which can be easily customised to make Windows XP more tolerable. Let me show you (if you don’t know it already)how you can change many of the features and take advantage of some of the new, lesser-known features.
